Occupational Therapist - Basic Grade

Location: Dublin 16

Hours of Work: 37 hours

Reports to: Clinical Director

My client, a public healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for their Dublin site.

The role will involve collaborating with people living with psychiatric and mental health conditions.

Key Duties:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, carry out, and review treatments for residents and patients according to professional guidelines.
• Work with residents, families, carers, and staff to set goals and plan treatments
• Take part in the healthcare team and work closely with other professionals.
• Keep clear and complete clinical records of assessments, treatments, and discussions about residents.
• Provide Occupational Therapy services that follow legal rules and work effectively within the available budget.
• Be an active member of the Clinical Governance Committee and help develop and carry out plans for the service.
• Attend monthly supervision meetings with the Senior Occupational Therapist.

Essential Criteria:

• Be officially registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU.
• Have a degree in Occupational Therapy (or an equivalent qualification) and be able to join the AOTI.
• Minimum 6 months Occupational Therapy experience.
