Starting Salary: €38,918 - Up to €49,000 DOE + Premium Payments
We are currently recruiting Social Care Workers for two established, regulated services in Naas, Co. Kildare:
Residential service supporting children and young people
Respite service supporting adults with autism
These positions offer structured environments, strong salary scales, and clear progression opportunities within therapeutic, person-centred settings.
Residential Social Care - Children & Young People
You will work as part of a therapeutic residential team supporting children and young people presenting with a range of complex needs. The voice and lived experience of each young person is central to care planning and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, therapeutic, person-centred care
Contribute to care planning, key working and report writing
Promote safety, wellbeing, education and development
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and relevant legislation
Work a structured shift pattern including sleepovers
Social Care Worker - Respite (Adults with Autism)
This role focuses on supporting adults with autism to develop independence and actively participate in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and review Person-Centred Plans
Support daily living skills and personal care
Promote autonomy, rights and informed decision-making
Encourage community engagement and skill development
Work a rota including evenings, weekends and waking night shifts
Essential Criteria
Applicants must have:
Minimum Level 7 Degree in one of the following (or equivalent):
Social Care / Social Studies
Psychology
Youth & Community Work
Social Work / Social Sciences
Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Counselling / Addiction Studies
Early Years Care
Teaching
Family Support
Disability Studies
Applied Behavioural Analysis
Nursing Studies
Applied Policing
Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service)
OR CORU Registration as a Social Care Worker
Minimum 1 year's experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and current legislation
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full clean driver's licence (required for some roles)
Full eligibility to work in Ireland (EU/EEA only)
Salary & Benefits
Starting salary: €38,918
Salary scale up to €49,000 depending on experience (inclusive of sleepover allowance)
Premium payments for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
