Social Care Worker - Residential Service

2 Permanent Positions Available | Dublin | 39 Hours per Week

Salary: From €38,918 per annum

We are currently recruiting two qualified Social Care Workers to join a residential service supporting adults with autism in Dublin. These permanent roles offer an excellent opportunity to work in a person-centred environment focused on independence, dignity, and meaningful community inclusion.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Providing person-centred support aligned with individual care plans and personal outcomes

  • Supporting daily routines, independent living skills, and personal care where required

  • Encouraging community participation and social engagement

  • Promoting choice, wellbeing, and individual rights

  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning reviews

  • Working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams


What You Need:

  • QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or Applied Social Care (or relevant Schedule 3 qualification) with minimum 6 months recent experience supporting individuals with complex needs; OR

  • Relevant degree qualification (e.g. Social Work or Psychology) with at least 2 years recent relevant experience

  • CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, or proof of application in progress

  • Knowledge of current social care legislation and best practice

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Full, clean driver's licence

Working Pattern:

Shift work operates on a rota basis and includes evenings, weekends, and waking night duty shifts.
