Salary: €65,000 - €85,000 (based on experience)
Working Hours: Standard full-time hours, with flexibility and on-call responsibilities

Staffline Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Person in Charge (PIC) to manage a residential elderly care facility in County Kildare. This senior leadership role is best suited to a registered nurse with strong management capability and a deep understanding of HIQA compliance in the care of older persons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with all clinical and regulatory standards
• Oversee daily operations of the residential facility, including staffing, governance, and clinical leadership
• Lead and develop the nursing and care team, ensuring ongoing compliance with HIQA requirements
• Drive continuous improvement, staff development, and positive resident outcomes
• Act as the primary point of contact for inspections, audits, and external agencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and support policy implementation

Essential Criteria:

• Active NMBI registration
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in elderly care
• Meets the regulatory criteria to be appointed as Person in Charge under HIQA guidelines
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Thorough knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
