About the Role:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Day Care Manager to oversee operations in a dementia-focused Day Care Centre. This is a unique opportunity to lead a committed team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care that enhances the lives of clients and supports their carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver holistic, dementia-specific care for all centre clients

• Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, including care staff, kitchen team, and volunteers

• Develop and implement individualised care plans

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and medication protocols

• Maintain administrative records including billing, statistics, and training logs

• Promote the service through networking and local awareness efforts

• Coordinate staff training and performance reviews

• Engage with clients' families and community healthcare professionals

• Ensure the physical upkeep of the centre and transport services

Requirements:

• Degree (or validated foreign equivalent) in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector

• 3+ years in a managerial role

• Experience with dementia care and complex client needs

• Full clean driving license

• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desirable:

• Registered Nurse or postgraduate qualification in dementia care

• Understanding of Irish healthcare systems and voluntary sector operations
