About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our Residential Services team in South Limerick, supporting adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will play a key part in providing care and support that enhances the lives of service users in a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

• Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours in both adults and children.

• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team and independently when required.

• Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders.

• Support the day-to-day running of residential services.

• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and all residential care regulations.

Essential Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a relevant field (Full award required).

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

• Full manual driving licence and access to own transport.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• A genuine interest in supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
