About the Role:
A busy, well-established veterinary practice in Limerick is seeking an experienced Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join its dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident vet who enjoys a varied caseload and is comfortable working with both small and large animals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical care for small animals and livestock (mainly cattle and sheep)
Perform routine consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
Conduct on-farm visits and emergency care as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
Participate in a shared on-call rota with time off in lieu
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience in Ireland
Registered (or eligible to register) with the Veterinary Council of Ireland
Competent across both companion and farm animal care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Full clean driving licence (work vehicle can be provided)
