Job Description

Staffline Recruitment is seeking qualified Social Care Workers for full-time roles in a 24/7 residential care service based in rural County Kildare. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting individuals in a person-centred and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support to residents

• Promote dignity, independence, and active participation in daily life

• Implement and follow individualised care plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Shift & Schedule

• 24/7 residential service

• Rostered shifts: Typically 3 x 12-hour shifts followed by 4 x 12-hour shifts (approx. 80 hours per fortnight)

• Must be flexible with availability for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Premium pay applies for Sunday and Bank Holiday shifts

Requirements

• Level 7 Degree in Social Care or Applied Social Care
  OR

• CORU Registration (if holding a related qualification)

• 1 year's experience in a similar setting (preferred)

• Full Clean Driving Licence - essential due to rural location and requirement to drive residents

  • A provisional licence is not ideal; however, candidates who have applied for their driving test and are awaiting a date may be considered
