Job Title: Staff Nurse - Dementia Care (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Bruff, Co. Limerick
Schedule: Rotational shifts - 7 shifts over 2 weeks
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, with ongoing training and development opportunities


About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join a pioneering residential care community in Bruff, Co. Limerick. This state-of-the-art facility is specifically designed to support individuals living with dementia through a holistic, person-centred care model.

This role presents an opportunity to work in a progressive care environment focused on quality, dignity, and innovation in dementia care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents across three residential homes (6 residents per house)

  • Adhere to professional nursing standards as set out by the NMBI and internal policies

  • Contribute to care planning, documentation, risk assessments, and care evaluations

  • Collaborate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary care team

  • Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life

  • Participate in infection prevention, clinical audits, and service improvement initiatives

  • Engage in ongoing training, supervision, and continuous professional development


Candidate Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

  • Prior experience in dementia care is desirable but not essential

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

  • Strong clinical judgement and a compassionate, resident-focused approach

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Commitment to upholding best practice and continuous learning

Applicants must currently be living in Ireland and be fully eligible to work in the country (e.g. hold Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, or Irish/EU citizenship).
