Salary Ranges:
Person in Charge (PIC): €54,000 - €63,000
Social Care Worker: €36,945 - €52,720

A leading provider of high-quality residential and community-based services for individuals with intellectual disabilities is currently recruiting for Person in Charge and Social Care Worker positions. Both roles are full-time and based in a structured and person-centred residential setting in rural South Limerick.

1. Person in Charge (PIC)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of a designated residential service
Ensure full compliance with HIQA standards and all relevant legislation
Manage, supervise, and support the staff team
Oversee risk management, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes
Develop and implement person-centred care and support plans
Foster strong relationships with families, external professionals, and the wider community
Requirements:
Relevant Level 7 or Level 8 qualification (e.g. Social Care, Nursing, Applied Social Studies)
Minimum of 3 years' management experience in disability or social care services
Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Full clean driving licence
2. Social Care Worker
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver person-centred support and daily care to residents
Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and community inclusion
Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulations
Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
Promote dignity, choice, and independence
Requirements:
Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field
Previous experience working in residential or community disability services
Understanding of person-centred and positive behaviour support approaches
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Full driver's licence preferred
