Assistant Director of Nursing

Our client, a private healthcare provider based in Leinster is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join their Nursing Home based in Shankill, Dublin.

Location: Shankill, Dublin 18

Job type: Permanent/Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly, fully onsite

Key Duties:

• Lead and motivate nursing and care teams to deliver excellent care.
• Act as a role model, promoting the organisation's values and standards.
• Support staff development and leadership growth.
• Oversee care quality and hold staff accountable.
• Deputise for the Director of Nursing when needed.
• Help plan and manage resources effectively.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be registered with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience at a nursing management level.
• Must hold - Level 8 qualification in Management & Leadership in Health, or Level 9 qualification in any field that includes a Leadership module.
