Location: Rathfarnham, Dublin 16
Hours of Work: 37 hours
Reports to: Clinical Director
My client, a public healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for their Dublin site.
The role will involve collaborating with people living with psychiatric and mental health conditions.
Key Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, carry out, and review treatment programs for residents and patients, following professional guidelines.
- Collaborate with residents, their families, carers, and other staff to set goals and plan treatments.
- Take part in the healthcare team, cooperating and collaborating with all members.
- Keep clear and detailed clinical records of assessments, treatments, and related discussions.
- Provide Occupational Therapy services in line with legal rules, and make sure services are delivered effectively within the set budget.
- Be an active member of the Clinical Governance Committee, helping to create and put into action strategic and operational plans.
- Attend monthly supervision meetings with the Senior Occupational Therapist.
Essential Criteria:
- Be officially registered as an Occupational Therapist with CORU.
- Have a degree in Occupational Therapy (or an equivalent qualification) and be able to join the AOTI.
- 1-2 years Occupational Therapy experience.
