Staffline Recruitment is currently hiring Social Care Workers for full-time, permanent night shift roles in residential children's services across South Tipperary.

Role Overview:
You will play a key role in supporting children and young people in a residential setting during overnight hours. This includes ensuring safety, offering emotional support, and maintaining a structured, caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent overnight care in line with individual care plans

• Ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of young people

• Respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies

• Maintain clear and accurate records

• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline

• Experience in residential childcare is an advantage

• Solid understanding of child protection, trauma-informed care, and HIQA standards

• Ability to work independently and manage night duties

• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
