Senior Occupational Therapist

My client, a private healthcare provider who provides person centred services for adults and children with an intellectual disability, autism and acquired brain injury is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist for their Cork, Kildare & Meath residential sites.

Key Duties:

• Manage caseloads efficiently, including complex cases.
• Oversee daily operations in designated service areas and promote team collaboration.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Participate in clinical reviews, case conferences, and relevant meetings.
• Develop and implement clinical guidelines and ensure compliance with best practice and relevant legislation.
• Identify and address risks and report incidents promptly in line with policy.
• Support service development, planning, audits, and quality initiatives.
• Collect data, evaluate service delivery, and report on outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland.
• A Full Driving License and access to own car.
• 3 year's post qualification clinical experience.
• Experience in the provision of occupation-based intervention programmes and working with an adult with complex needs who have an intellectual disability and/or mental health challenges and/or ABI.
