Team Leader

Currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Team Leader to join our client's team based in a new residential unit in Crossmolina.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care for adults in residential care. Our client is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of adults who live with intellectual disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour.

Key duties:

• Supervise and support staff in their daily work.
• Make staff rotas and ensure shifts are covered.
• Support service users with their individual care and daily routines.
• Ensure the service follows all policies, HIQA standards, and safety rules.
• Report and respond to any incidents or safeguarding concerns.
• Help with staff training, meetings, and ongoing development.
• Take part in inspections and quality reviews.

Essential criteria:

• Qualification in Social Care, Healthcare, or a related field (Level 5/6 or higher).
• 1-2 years' experience collaborating with people with autism and/or intellectual disabilities.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
