Job Opportunity: Social Care Worker - Callan, Co. Kilkenny

Staffline Recruitment is currently hiring qualified Social Care Workers for full-time positions in a 24/7 residential care service located in the rural town of Callan, Co. Kilkenny. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated team providing person-centred support in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care and support to residents

• Promote dignity, independence, and meaningful daily engagement

• Implement and follow individualised care plans

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care

Shift & Schedule:

• 24/7 residential care environment

• Typical roster: 3 x 12-hour shifts followed by 4 x 12-hour shifts (approx. 80 hours per fortnight)

• Must be flexible to cover night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Enhanced pay applies for Sunday and Bank Holiday shifts

Requirements:

• Level 7 Degree in Social Care or Applied Social Care
  OR

• CORU Registration for candidates with a related qualification

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar residential or social care setting (preferred)

• Full clean driving licence is essential due to the rural location and need to drive residents

• Candidates who have applied for their driving test and are awaiting a date may also be considered
