Clinical Nurse Manager 2

My client is an independent not-for-profit hospital seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (2), for their in-patient mental health service based in Dublin 16.

The client provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders.

Key Duties:

• Offer various health checks and treatments for residents.
• Help manage long-term health conditions with doctors and the care team.
• Give vaccines to residents and staff when needed.
• Perform health screenings like blood pressure, weight, urine tests, ECG, and more.
• Take part in training and teach others about health monitoring.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered General Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI registration
• At least 3 years of nursing experience after registration
• Skilled in taking blood (Venepuncture/Phlebotomy) and doing ECG tests
• Knowledge of primary care and managing long-term health conditions like COPD, diabetes, and heart disease.
