About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Social Care Leaders and Night Shift Social Care Workers for a well-established children's residential service in County Tipperary. These roles offer an opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people in a safe and supportive environment.

Available Roles

1. Social Care Leader - Full-Time, Permanent

  • Lead a team of social care professionals in delivering high-quality residential care

  • Oversee care planning, risk management, staff supervision, and daily operations

  • Ensure adherence to HIQA standards and child safeguarding practices

  • Support the emotional, educational, and social development of young people

Requirements:

  • Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in children's residential care

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Full driving licence


2. Night Shift Social Care Worker - Full-Time, Permanent

  • Provide overnight supervision and support to children in care

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents during the night hours

  • Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with day staff

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents as required

Requirements:

  • Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related field

  • Experience working with young people in a care or similar setting

  • Ability to remain calm and proactive overnight

  • Full driving licence preferred
