Basic Grade Physiotherapist

Duration: Permanent/Full time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Our client, a private Residential Nursing Home based in Galway is looking to hire Basic Grade Physiotherapist with speciality in Neuro Rehabilitation to join their team.

The successful candidate will have the support of the Senior Physio and work along the MDT Team, providing services to the dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit.

Key Duties:

• Conduct expert assessments to create personalised care and treatment plans, using proven medical knowledge and a variety of treatment methods.
• Plan and deliver tailored exercise programs, and design 24-hour posture care plans.
• Take part in training for the Elderly Care service, help with research projects, and work with the team on posters for national conferences.
• Organise and run exercise sessions for elderly patients.

Essential Criteria:

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy - required
• CORU registration (or close to completing it) - required
• ISC registration - preferred
