Location: Naas, County Kildare
Salary: €75,000 - €95,000+ (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (with on-call responsibilities)

Staffline Recruitment is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Nursing to lead a high-performing care team in a respected healthcare facility based in Naas, County Kildare. This senior leadership role offers long-term career potential, autonomy, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership across all nursing functions
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with HIQA and internal quality standards
• Develop, implement, and monitor care plans in line with best practices
• Manage, mentor, and support nursing and care teams to drive performance and high standards of care
• Oversee audits, inspections, and internal reporting
• Act as the primary clinical contact for stakeholders, families, and regulatory bodies
• Participate in the on-call rota as part of senior leadership responsibilities

Essential Criteria:

• Active NMBI registration
• Minimum of 7 years' post-registration experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or management role
• In-depth understanding of HIQA standards and clinical governance
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage change, improve processes, and maintain high-quality care delivery
