Clinical Nurse Manager

Our client, a private Residential Nursing Home based in east Galway is looking to hire a suitable Clinical Nurse Manager to join both their Nursing Home and dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury unit. Due to expansion, they are hiring for 2 Clinical Nurse Managers to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Duties:

• Plan and run training programs for staff so they can keep improving their skills and expand what they can do.
• Oversee starting, monitoring, and reviewing staff induction and clinical skills programs.
• Support a workplace where staff can learn and grow, and take part in ward-based learning activities.
• Function as deputy for the Person in Charge (PIC) and cover nursing administration duties, including night shifts, when scheduled.
• Help improve care standards by joining in quality improvement projects.
• Report and document any accidents or incidents involving staff, patients, or visitors to Nursing Administration.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have a minimum 2 years' experience working as senior nurse in clinical, acute or community settings.
• Must be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.
