Staff Nurse

Full time/perm post and reporting to Person in Charge/Clinical Nurse Manager onsite.

Our client, a private Residential Nursing Home based in East Galway is looking to hire a suitable Staff Nurse to join their Nursing Home.

Key Duties:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents in line with individual care plans
• Monitor residents' health conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Accurately document care provided, maintain nursing records, and report any changes in residents' health
• Supervise and support healthcare assistants, providing guidance and delegation where appropriate

Essential Criteria:

• Must have a minimum 1 years' experience working as general nurse in clinical, acute or community settings.
• Experience working with geriatric and older persons would be desirable
• Must be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.
