Care Manager

Full time, permanent post, and reporting to the Regional Manager.

My client, a private domiciliary care and healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Care Manager to join their Galway based team to oversee the management of healthcare staff on behalf of their County Galway and Galway city-based clients.

The role will suit someone coming health or social background that have experience providing care for aging adults and their families and supervising fellow staff members.

Key Duties:

• Be flexible in taking responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care in the organisation.
• Ensure effective management of carer rosters, carer training/development and overall carer welfare with the support of the Regional Manager.
• Using the management CRM system to monitor all daily activities with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance at every level.
• Communicate closely with the support office regarding scheduling runs, client care and HSE communication.
• Take responsibility for identifying, monitoring and managing training needs within the Galway team, by implementing a career development path in line with the company's HR strategy.
• Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are carried out in line with the company and HSE standards.

Essential Criteria:

• QQI Level 6 Health Studies, Supervisory Management, Social Care (or higher).
• 2-3 years' experience in home care, social care or community care sector in a Supervisory or Management role.
• Experience in using One Touch Care Management software would be an advantage.
