Salary: €41,269 - €52,445 per annum (based on a 40-hour week)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced House Coordinator to join a leading residential care service for adults with intellectual disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a supportive living environment, empowering residents to live with dignity, autonomy, and inclusion in their communities.
Purpose of the Role
The House Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and person-centred living experience for residents. The role involves the daily oversight of social care assistants, volunteers, and all aspects of residential operations-ranging from health, wellbeing, and personal development of residents, to regulatory compliance and staff management.
Key Responsibilities
Advocacy & Rights
Promote and protect the rights, dignity, and choice of all residents.
Support the development of self-advocacy and community participation.
Person-Centred Support
Oversee personal plans, intimate care needs, and behaviour support strategies.
Facilitate individual autonomy, skill development, and health management.
Encourage social, vocational, and educational growth.
Leadership & Management
Lead and support staff through supervision, performance management, and training.
Ensure effective rosters, adherence to policies, and strong team culture.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and manage communication with the PIC.
Oversee health appointments, medication management, safeguarding, and hygiene standards.
Financial Management
Manage household budgets, resident finances, and contribute to budget planning.
Ensure transparent documentation and involvement of residents in budgeting decisions.
Essential Requirements
Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care or equivalent in Health/Social Care.
Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role within social care.
Minimum 3 years' experience working with adults with disabilities.
Strong understanding of HIQA regulations and national safeguarding standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
Full driver's licence and own transport.
