Hours: 78 hours fortnightly, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate / Salary: €34,000 - €43,000
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:
Peer Support Worker role within a specialist mental health rehabilitation service supporting adults with complex and enduring mental health needs. The Peer Support Worker uses lived experience to support recovery, hope, and independence within a multidisciplinary team environment. This role would suit an individual passionate about person-centred recovery and supporting service users to achieve greater independence and wellbeing.

Key Duties:
- Support service users to develop personal recovery plans individually or in groups
- Support goal setting, planning, and transition beyond services
- Model recovery experience and coping strategies from lived experience
- Contribute to MDT care planning, implementation, and review
- Support independent living, community engagement, and social connections
- Assist with appointments and community-based activities
- Monitor progress and report changes or incidents to clinical staff
- Maintain records and attend supervision, handovers, and team meetings
Essential Criteria:
- Qualification in Peer Support Working in Mental Health
- Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience as a Peer Support Worker
- Experience in adult mental health, rehabilitation, or community mental health services
- Completion of WRAP training with experience applying the model
- Knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements
