Business Development Manager
At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established and reputable organisation with offices in Dublin 12.
As part of the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering client relationships and seizing new business opportunities. The successful applicant will be a professional and reliable individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering related technical sales position.
You must be an excellent communicator with a customer service approach. It is essential that you have the genuine ability to build rapport with clients, create a positive impression with them and provide consistently a high level of customer service and support.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through active customer engagement
- Act as a solutions expert by understanding customer needs and recommending products
- Drive sales by maximising existing relationships and educating them on our offerings
- Provide exceptional customer support and problem-solving
- Coordinate and manage customer projects for seamless execution
- Gather and share valuable market insights
- Proactively work toward meeting sales targets for all products
- Collaborate on growth initiatives and contribute to forward planning with the sales team
Applicants will meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a busy commercial technical sales role
- Experience and/or knowledge of food or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is highly desirable
- Experience working with Salesforce software is a must
- A natural talent for building rapport with business operators at all levels
- Proactive communication style with a customer-first mindset
- Quick learner who actively listens and aligns with ambitious company goals
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and within a team
- A full, clean driver's license

This is permanent position will offer a salary in the region of €55,000 - €65,000 plus bonus, benefits and a competitive commission structure.
