€75,000 - €80,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Civil Project Manager to join a growing engineering and infrastructure team delivering major water, wastewater, and utilities projects across Ireland.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale civil engineering projects from design and planning through to construction, commissioning, and final handover. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery while driving performance across safety, quality, programme, and commercial targets.

The Role

As Civil Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects while managing site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholder relationships.

You will work closely with project teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from start to completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors
  • Oversee programme delivery, budgets, procurement, and commercial activities
  • Ensure Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards are maintained
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and key project stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Support planning, scheduling, and reporting activities
  • Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and project reviews
  • Mentor engineers and site teams while promoting continuous improvement
  • Drive collaboration and successful project outcomes across all phases of delivery

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar Project Management role
  • Strong experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Experience within water, wastewater, utilities, or construction sectors desirable
  • Strong commercial and programme management awareness
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Office packages
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Full driving licence required
