Our client based in Dublin North has a requirement for a Costing Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE|

You will be responsible for preparing accurate costings and quotations by translating customer requirements into manufacturable and commercially viable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Prepare BOMs and component specifications for supplier pricing
• Interpret engineering drawings to support costing
• Develop and maintain labour and material cost models
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, specifications, and cost tracking
• Collaborate with Engineering, NPI, Finance, and Sales teams
• Monitor labour efficiency and FX impacts on costings
• Support timely and accurate delivery of customer quotations

REQUIREMENTS|

• Engineering background with sheet metal experience (essential)
• Strong Excel and ERP skills
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in costing, estimation, or NPI (preferred)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
