€80,000 - €90,000 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior MEICA Project Manager to join a growing engineering and infrastructure team delivering major water, wastewater, and utilities projects across Ireland.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) projects from design and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and final handover. Working within a multi-disciplinary environment, you will play a key leadership role in driving successful project delivery while mentoring teams and maintaining the highest standards across safety, quality, and performance.

The Role

As Senior MEICA Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery including programme management, commercial coordination, subcontractor management, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead project teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, process, and automation disciplines while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MEICA projects from pre-construction through to final handover
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
  • Oversee programme delivery, project performance, and commercial activities
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement processes
  • Ensure Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout project delivery
  • Monitor project risks, opportunities, budgets, and reporting requirements
  • Support commissioning, testing, and process proving activities
  • Mentor engineers and site teams while promoting continuous improvement
  • Drive collaboration and successful project outcomes across all disciplines

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar Project Management role
  • Strong MEICA project delivery experience within utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
  • Experience managing mechanical installations, electrical systems, control systems, and commissioning activities
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and programme management awareness
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Office packages
  • Full driving licence required
