Community Nurse - Paediatric

The Role:

Our client is seeking experienced Nurses to look after children with complex needs in the community. This position is ideal for someone who is an experienced nurse, is enthusiastic about providing excellent and reliable care, and enjoys meaningful one-to-one care and making a significant impact in children's lives.

Job Types:

• This Position is available for full time permanent hours - Monday - Sunday
• Night shifts (8-12 hour shifts available)
• up to 39 hours per week available

Person Specifications 

• Must be eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
• 1 year of acute paediatric experience or related experience
• Ireland NMBI registration
• Open to RCN or RGN/RNID with applicable experience
• Mandatory certifications up to date in accordance with NMBI requirement
• Desire to provide one-to-one care.

Key Responsibilities 

Will be accountable for the following set of responsibilities and expected to assume additional responsibilities as the role progresses in professional development.

• Adheres to the established client care plan.
• Assists with assigned personal care tasks.
• Assists with ambulation and exercises. 
• Health education.
• Understands and follows safety and infection control policies and practices.
• Demonstrates good case management and appropriate nursing care.
• Take initiative to assist the client, to go above and beyond in the care provided.
• Report any clinical incidents using the company's incident reporting application.
