Healthcare Assistant Positions Available - Guaranteed Hours

Locations:

• West Limerick: Abbeyfeale, Templeglantine, Kilmallock, Kilfinane, Adare, Askeaton, Croagh, Kildimo
• Limerick City
• East Limerick: Kilfinane, Ballylanders, Galbally, Kilmallock, Bruff, Cappamore, Pallasgreen, Kilteely
• Co. Limerick: Bruff (Community), Night Duty (Days and Nights)
• Co. Cork: Charleville (Including Fermoy, Rathcormac, Ballyhooley)
• Co. Clare: Knockyclovaun, Killaloe

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide homecare to individual clients in their homes.
• Assist with all aspects of personal care.
• Prepare and plan meals.
• Provide mobility assistance.
• Assist with continence management and catheter care.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and run errands.
• Offer companionship and engage in recreational activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working as a carer.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (full 8 modules) or a minimum of 2 modules (Care of the Older Person and Care Skills).
• Good knowledge and experience working with older persons and clients with critical illnesses.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused, dedicated, and reliable attitude.
• Full, clean driver's license and own transport required.
