Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM 2 Grade)
Contract: 9 months (Maternity Cover), Full Time
Location: Swords, North Dublin
THE ROLE!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager to join our client's team in North Dublin. The client is a healthcare provider and supplies healthcare workers for clients in the North Dublin area. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for the overall quality of service delivery to all customers within the franchise. He/she will provide leadership and management to all staff within the franchise and will be professionally accountable to the Managing Director.
REPORTING TO: Managing Director
Key Duties:
- To lead the care team in the provision of excellent evidenced based care and implement all aspects of the care plans based on the needs identified and review accordingly
- To always act as the customer advocate
- To plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff in conjunction with the Care Co-Ordinator
- To ensure compliance with safeguarding systems in line with Bluebird Care Policies and Procedures
- To liaise with all Health Care Professionals and HSE
- To grow and develop the Bluebird Care business locally
- To identify staff training needs and provide accordingly
- To select and effectively manage a dispersed workforce
Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI - essential
- Driving license is essential
- A Healthcare Management/Business qualification is desirable
- Experience in leading and managing teams desirable
- Risk Management qualification desirable
- Min 3 years' experience post qualification desirable
- Work knowledge of HIQA Standards desirable
