Rigid Truck Driver (Category C)

Our client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Truck Driver (Category C) to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys early starts, works well independently and takes pride in delivering a professional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Working Hours

• Monday
• Tuesday
• Thursday
• Saturday
• 5:00 am - 2:00 pm

Pay Rate

• €20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Category C rigid truck.
• Complete scheduled collections and deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain all relevant transport documentation.
• Adhere to all road safety, transport and company procedures.
• Load and unload goods when required.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience operating rigid trucks.
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and road safety requirements.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Experience working within a logistics, distribution or transport environment.
