Our client, a leading manufacturing company, has a vacancy for a at their site in Co Cavan.

The Role:
As a Business Support & Planning Coordinator, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including
- Support the development and maintenance of capacity and production plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer demand, and operational requirements.
- Manage and monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy, supporting product availability and efficient inventory control.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Service, suppliers, and internal teams to analyse sales trends, identify demand drivers, and support effective planning.
- Coordinate production planning activities to ensure schedules are aligned with customer requirements, demand forecasts, and available production capacity.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting and business administration, ensuring planning information is maintained to a high standard and deadlines are consistently achieved.
Hours of work:
- Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.30pm and Fri 8am - 4pm
- 42hrs per week
Requirements for the successful Business Support & Planning Coordinator
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in business support, planning, supply chain, or administration within a fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing, production, or FMCG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support informed business decisions.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy across planning and reporting activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate confidently across multiple departments.
- Strong IT and systems knowledge, including Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills; experience with AS400 or similar ERP systems would be advantageous.
