Pay Rate / Salary: €60,000-€71,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to join a specialist mental health service in Dublin 16. The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 will provide clinical leadership, support high standards of patient care, and contribute to the ongoing development of nursing services. This Clinical Nurse Manager 2 role is suited to an experienced psychiatric nurse with strong leadership and operational management experience.

Key Duties:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership, coordination, and management of nursing services in line with national and regulatory standards.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient treatment, care, safety, and service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Risk Management, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support operational change programmes within the nursing service.
• Collaborate with residents, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team in care planning and goal setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to support high-quality patient care.
• Ensure practices, procedures, and policies align with organisational service and strategic plans.

Essential Criteria:

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI (or eligible for registration).
• Minimum five years' post-qualification experience, including at least two years as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1.
• Experience within a healthcare or hospital setting, including acute mental health care.
• Experience managing staff, budgets, and workforce planning.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements, leadership, governance, and Clinical Governance.
