About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join the first dedicated Rehabilitation / Acquired Brain Injury Unit in the West of Ireland on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Clinical Psychologist will support adults with acquired brain injuries through psychological assessment, rehabilitation programmes, and clinical support. This Senior Clinical Psychologist role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to specialise in Neurorehabilitation.

Key Duties:

• Complete psychological assessments for clients within the ABI service and Residential Care Home
• Design and deliver rehabilitation programmes
• Support clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders
• Provide professional and clinical support to frontline professionals
• Develop innovative psychological responses on behalf of the organisation

Essential Criteria:

• Recognised post-graduate professional qualification in Clinical Psychology
• Experience working with adults with acquired brain injuries or other neurological conditions
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills

Desirable Criteria:

• Post-qualification experience working with adults with acquired brain injuries or other neurological conditions
• Experience conducting formal neuropsychological assessments and interventions
• Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards of practice
