Rigid Driver

Job Overview

A well-established Irish retailer seeks to hire a Rigid Driver based in Galway.

This role involves delivering and assembling furniture in customer's homes while providing excellent customer service. The position would suit an experienced Rigid Driver who is comfortable with physical work and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Review orders prior to delivery
* Unload goods in line with client specifications
* Assemble furniture in customer's homes
* Remove old furniture where pre-arranged and required
* Maintain communication with Logistics and Customer Service teams
* Follow company dress code and wear the required uniform
* Conduct vehicle inspections before departure

Requirements

• * Full clean Category C driving licence
  * All CPC certificates and valid driver's tachograph card
  * Experience driving trucks
  * Good knowledge of city and county desirable
  * Ability to undertake a physically demanding role involving daily heavy lifting
