PROGRAMME PLANNING MANAGER | DUBLIN 7 | CONTRACT

THE ROLE|

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Planning Manager to lead the development and delivery of an integrated programme for a major transport infrastructure project.

You will be responsible for planning, reporting, forecasting, and coordinating the integration of scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resources using Oracle Primavera P6. Working with key stakeholders, you will support effective programme control and help drive successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|

  • Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Programmes (IMP) using Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Establish and monitor project schedules, baselines, programme changes, and reporting.
  • Integrate scope, schedule, cost, risk, and resource planning to support successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to coordinate planning activities.
  • Monitor progress, analyse trends, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Produce programme reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, including Earned Value Management (EV, CPI, SPI).
  • Support procurement, construction, commissioning, contract administration, and project close-out activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational standards, governance processes, and safety requirements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS|

  • Experienced Programme Controls professional with over 10 years' experience in planning and programme management for major transport and infrastructure projects.
  • Skilled in Primavera P6, project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and programme reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC4, CWMF, public sector frameworks, and the full project life cycle. Experienced in risk management, earned value management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering effective programme controls.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, supported by excellent communication and commercial awareness.
