Are you looking to build your career within a busy warehouse and inventory environment? Our client, a leading provider of specialist industrial supplier, is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Technician to join their team in Galway.

Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with warehouse or stores experience who is eager to develop their skills in a customer-focused environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the on-site stores function. You'll work closely with customers and colleagues to ensure stock is managed accurately, deliveries are completed on time, and inventory levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the on-site stores
• Receive and process incoming goods
• Deliver materials safely and efficiently to the production floor
• Carry out stock control and cycle counting activities
• Prepare orders for customer collection
• Achieve agreed site performance metrics and KPIs
• Respond to customer-specific requests in line with service agreements
• Assist with general warehouse and inventory duties as required

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or inventory environment
• Experience within the automotive or manufacturing sector is desirable
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
• A good understanding of industrial tools and equipment, with the ability to assist customers in identifying suitable products
• Fluent spoken and written English

• Salary of €35,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday working hours (40 hours per week), typically 7:30am-4:30pm
