ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting an Equipping and Commissioning Lead on behalf of a major healthcare development programme. This senior-level role sits within the Capital & Estates function and will play a leading role in coordinating and delivering a range of clinical and non-clinical equipping services as part of a large-scale development programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, commissioning readiness, and integrated logistics planning across the programme.
Reporting to: Construction Manager and Deputy Capital Workstream Lead.
Project leaders / Managers, Senior Quantity Surveyors, Procurement Engineers, Architectures and/or Chartered Professionals in a similar field should apply!
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Competitive salary: €79,877 - €99,696 (DOE)
- 30 days annual leave per annum plus Public Holidays (10) Bank Holiday (1) and Statutory Sick Leave entitlements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will support the delivery of the programme through responsibilities including:
- Supporting the implementation and management of the programme equipping strategy
- Coordinating equipment procurement activities across programme work streams
- Supporting procurement evaluations and contract award processes
- Coordinating readiness assessments and commissioning activities
- Identifying and managing programme risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, commissioning groups, and external suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards and HSE procedures
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, candidates must have:
- A Level 8 qualification (or higher) in Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, or equivalent discipline accredited by the relevant professional body
OR
- Full membership (or eligibility for membership) of one of the following professional bodies: Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Engineers Ireland AND/OR Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI)
AND
- Proven experience managing procurement and commissioning activities within large-scale programmes of comparable size and complexity
Desirable
- Professional project management qualification such as PRINCE2, CAPM, or equivalent

- Understanding of healthcare infrastructure (Desirable) and building services
- Knowledge of Irish public procurement processes and policy
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
