An exciting opportunity is available for an ambitious Electrical Site Engineer to join a growing engineering and infrastructure team delivering major water, wastewater, and utilities projects across Ireland.
This role offers the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary engineering projects from design and planning through to installation, commissioning, and final handover. You will work closely with experienced project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams while developing your technical and project delivery expertise within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Electrical Site Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of electrical and MEICA projects while assisting with site operations, project coordination, technical documentation, commissioning, and stakeholder communication.
This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their engineering career within a collaborative and progressive project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of electrical engineering projects from start to completion
- Assist with electrical design documentation and technical submissions
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Health & Safety documentation
- Review drawings, schematics, and project specifications
- Support procurement and subcontractor coordination activities
- Oversee installation quality checks and ensure works meet project standards
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and project handover processes
- Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within programme targets
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar engineering role
- Experience within utilities, infrastructure, water, or wastewater projects desirable
- Good understanding of electrical systems, commissioning, and site operations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving licence required
