My client is seeking to hire an Operations Manager in the Leinster region.

Overview
An experienced Operations Manager is required to oversee the delivery of multiple water and wastewater infrastructure projects across regional operations. This role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, cost control, and programme performance.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, working closely with project teams, site managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes across a portfolio of works.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across multiple live infrastructure projects
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Manage project planning, scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation
Coordinate site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor project performance against KPIs, budgets, and timelines
Implement effective cost control and ensure operational profitability
Review project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management
Lead pre-construction planning and operational readiness meetings
Manage client and stakeholder relationships, including regulatory bodies
Resolve operational issues, risks, and conflicts across project sites
Support recruitment, training, and performance management of site teams
Ensure accurate project documentation, records, and as-built information
Requirements
Proven experience in operations or senior project management within civil engineering or utilities
Strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure delivery
Solid understanding of Irish or UK water standards and regulations
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience
Proficiency in planning tools (e.g. MS Project) and general IT systems
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Full, clean driving licence (essential)
