Weekend Care Assistant - Stillorgan (Part-Time)
Location: Stillorgan, Dublin
Job Type: Part-time, Specified-purpose
Salary: €13.50 - €15.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday (split shifts)

Job Summary
A growing homecare provider is currently seeking part-time Care Assistants to provide essential support to clients in the Stillorgan area over the weekend. This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced care professionals who are passionate about supporting others and would like flexible weekend work close to home.

There is also potential for additional weekday hours if desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and hygiene support

• Assist with dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Provide support with meals and light household tasks

• Support clients getting in and out of bed

• Assist individuals presenting with challenging behaviour

• Carry out other care-related duties as required

Shift Pattern

• Friday Evening: 1 hour

• Saturday and Sunday:

  • Morning: 1.5 hours

  • Afternoon: 1 hour

  • Evening: 1 hour

• Total: Up to 7.5 hours per weekend

• Split-shift schedule

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (completed)

• Minimum 1 year of care experience

• Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour (essential)

• Valid People Moving and Handling Certificate

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Two references

• Weekend availability is required

• A full driving licence and access to a car is advantageous but not essential if living locally in Stillorgan
