Web and Digital Marketing Manager

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Web and Digital Marketing Manager for a company in the leisure and tourism industry. The Web and Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of company's digital strategy, leading to the achievement of set objectives and targets, promoting Belfast as a top European tourism destination in line with the marketing strategy and objectives as set out in annual Business Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and implement digital strategy across all existing and future platforms and activity, including websites, SEO, social media, email marketing, paid online advertising, interactive touchscreens, apps and digital marketing campaigns in line with digital targets and KPIs.
• Develop, manage and coordinate digital development projects across websites, apps, screens and other platforms.
• Develop, manage and coordinate digital marketing campaigns across websites, social media, paid online advertising, search, email marketing and other platforms, working with campaign partners and external agencies and organisations as required.
• Develop and manage email marketing and social media marketing plans and activity.
• Liaise with the Marketing and Campaigns Manager to develop and co-ordinate integrated marketing campaigns targeting Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Great Britain and other locations.
• Liaise with the Commercial and Partnership Manager to develop and improve commercial advertising and partner opportunities across digital platforms to increase commercial income.
• Manage third party supplier contracts and relationships with digital and design agencies, including procurement of services, administration, and briefing and delivery of projects and activity within set budgets and timescales.
• Report to the Director of Marketing and Communications in management of the web and digital marketing budget.
• Oversee digital elements of corporate, strategic and regional tourism partnership agreements and Service Level Agreements, ensuring all targets are met and monitoring reports maintained.
• Create content for and contribute to departmental reports, business plans, Service Level Agreements and evaluations.
• Recruit and train new members of staff as required.
• Represent company at partner and industry events.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Person Specification:

• Third level degree qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area OR 5 years of experience working in a relevant web and digital marketing area at an appropriate senior level.
• 3 years of experience working in a web and digital marketing discipline, and experience of managing budgets and teams.
• Experience in developing and implementing web and digital marketing plans, digital campaigns and online activity.
• Experience in developing and maintaining websites and managing Content Management Systems.
• Experience in the development and management of social media strategy and communications.
• Experience in the development and management of email marketing strategy, communications and software.
• Solid track record in digital content creation, publication and promotion.

Desirable Criteria:

• CIM qualification, Digital Marketing Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience of working in the tourism/hospitality industry.
• 3 years of experience in web and digital marketing campaigns and online activity.
• Experience of managing an agency/technical supplier.
• Experience of driving commercial benefit through digital solutions.
