Job Title: Social Care Worker

Location: County Carlow, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are a dedicated and compassionate care provider delivering high-quality social care services across County Carlow. Our mission is to empower individuals to live safe, fulfilling, and independent lives, underpinned by dignity, respect, and inclusion. We operate a range of residential services that support adults with intellectual disabilities as well as young people from international backgrounds, many of whom are living in Ireland without family supports.


The Role

We are currently seeking motivated and empathetic Social Care Workers to join our expanding team on a permanent, full-time basis. These roles are based within residential care settings, offering tailored, person-centred support to both adults with intellectual disabilities and international young people in need of structured and compassionate care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, person-centred care in line with individual care plans

  • Promote independence, dignity, and community integration

  • Support service users with emotional, social, and daily living needs

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports

  • Collaborate with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Assist in the development and implementation of care strategies

  • Uphold safeguarding, HIQA standards, and best practices


Requirements

  • Level 7 (Ordinary Degree) or Level 8 (Honours Degree) in Social Care or a related field

  • CORU registration or eligibility to register as a Social Care Worker

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Previous experience in residential care is an advantage
