Duration: Permanent, Full Time

Hours of work: 37.5 hours

Location: Dublin

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Ireland's well established private acute hospitals based in Dublin.

You will be working as part of the Radiography team and with the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of quality and patient centred nursing care.

Essential Criteria:

  • BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Qualification must be registered and validated by CORU.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in Radiography and working with a team of radiographers.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage clinical and non-clinical situations.
  • Have proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates evidence of continued professional development.

Key Duties:

  • Have a knowledge of departmental exam protocols and application to the clinical indications or surgeon requesting the exam.
  • Demonstrates a high level of clinical knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role, including keeping abreast of development technologies and their likely impact.
  • Demonstrates evidence of experience working with multidisciplinary teams at clinic and administrative level.
  • Has strong problem solving / troubleshooting skills for equipment errors to resolve at a local level before escalation to CSR/ Medical Physics.
  • Demonstrates an awareness and appreciation of the service user and a commitment to providing a quality service; evidence of ability to empathise with and treat clients, relatives and colleagues with dignity and respect.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Has the ability to manage and maintain a flexible approach in a rapidly changing environment and willingness to undertake such additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Awareness and appreciation of service users and the ability to empathise with and treat others with dignity and respect.
