The role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Ireland's largest non-profit organisations who provide services and support to people that live with Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
We are recruiting a Nurse Manager to lead the Daycare Home Service office in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. They will report directly to the Operations Manager and will provide support and guidance to the organisation's clients and stakeholders in the Tipperary area.
We are interested in receiving applications from qualified Staff Nurses in the areas of community services, acute settings and public health who have relevant experience treating patients or residents who live with Dementia and who are comfortable managing staff and services in the community.

Essential Criteria:
- Must have an active NMBI PIN on the general division of the register of nurses.
- 5 years' experience in a health/social care or voluntary background is essential for this role.
- Experience working with people with Dementia is essential.
- HR & Financial management, Quality standards and risk management experience would be desirable.
- Good communication skills, be open and enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and lead by example.
- Need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Key Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of both client and stakeholders.
- Have a clear understanding of HSE and HIQA governance.
- Implement best practice supported by CPD practices.
- Complete care plans for clients care and update where necessary.
- Adapt a direct approach to clients in reference to competency skills assessments with all Healthcare staff.
- Apply a person-centered model of care to all clients.
- To prioritize care needs for clients.
- Responsibility for own continuous professional development
- Support Staff, through effective communication, employee appraisal process and identifying and development of talent.
