A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to join its Oncology Day Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nurse leader with a passion for oncology care and team development.

About the Role:

You will oversee the daily operations of the Oncology Day Unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for patients undergoing treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct daily patient care activities.
• Manage staff assignments, ensuring skill mix meets patient needs.
• Administer chemotherapy in line with protocols and hospital standards.
• Provide patient and family education regarding oncology treatment.
• Support staff education, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines while promoting evidence-based practice.

What We're Looking For:

• Registered General Nurse with NMBI registration in good standing.
• Recognized Postgraduate Oncology Nursing Qualification.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in oncology, including chemotherapy administration.
• Competency in IV cannulation and venepuncture.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and teaching skills.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
