Machine Operator

Our client, a global manufacturer, servicing a broad range of industries, including construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, shipping, transportation, refining, energy, utilities, quarrying and mining, have vacancies for Machine Operators at their site in Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The Role:

As a Machine Operator you will be

• Understanding technical plans and be capable of working out measurements
• Processing and preparing raw steel
• Meeting production targets while maximising efficiency
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement

Hours of work:

• 40 hours weekly
• Mon - Thurs 7am - 5pm

Requirements for the successful Machine Operator:

• Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment, operating machines would be ideal
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Self-motivated and high energy
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities
