Job description
My client, a Galway based Medical Device organisation, are looking to seeking to hire a Production Support Technician.
This role will suit someone with experience in EDM Wiring & CNC Milling.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and verify SolidWorks drawings and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with automation and production teams to optimize part designs.
- Ensure finished parts meet quality and specification requirements.
- Operate CNC Milling, EDM Wire Erosion, grinders, lathes, and other tools.
- Prepare parts for anodizing.
- Assemble machines during builds.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of toolroom machinery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years of toolmaking experience.
- Proficient in 3D CAM software (AutoDesk Fusion) and CNC machinery.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing (preferred)
- Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft & Toolmaking.
